Historic IJsselkogge Relocated for Further Restoration

When HEBO raised the medieval IJsselkogge in 2016, we also carried out the transport of this remarkable historic vessel. The wreck, weighing over 50 tonnes and measuring 20 by 8 metres, was carefully moved from the conservation station, transported by road and loaded onto our HEBO P6 pontoon.
It was then transported by water to our HEBO facility in Zwartsluis, where the IJsselkogge will undergo further restoration. The vessel is part of the Dutch National Maritime Archaeological Collection and will receive a museum destination at the Koggewerf in Kampen following its restoration.
