From Heijsehaven to the Maeslantkering: the dock gate has been safely relocated.

The Matador 3 lifted the approximately 345-ton dock gate in the Heijsehaven. The dock gate was then transported to the Maeslantkering, where it was safely and carefully positioned back in place.
From a distance, an operation like this may appear relatively modest, but up close, the sheer scale of the dock gate and the equipment becomes truly apparent. At the same time, it highlights the immense scale of the Maeslantkering, of which this dock gate is only a small part.
